VINTAGE, VICTORIAN STYLE IVORY LACE BLOUSE, W/JABOT

This pretty ivory lace blouse would be great to wear with a long skirt at the Somewhere in Time Weekend event.  It is a very nice quality lace, with an overall floral pattern.  The long sleeves have a lace ruffle at the wrists, and there is an attached jabot at the front around the neck.  This comes down to a point in front, and ends at the top of each shoulder.  I can just picture the addition of a pretty antique brooch or cameo on the jabot.  The collar is a stand-up, high neck style.  There are buttons at the back.  I would say this blouse is a size 6.  It has a sheer netting for a lining.  You'll need to add a camisole underneath, as even with the lining it is a sheer blouse.  This is not an actual, ANTIQUE Victorian age blouse -- it is a vintage 1960's blouse that has that Victorian style and look.  With the right skirt, hat and accessories, it will be perfect as an appropriate outfit at the SIT Weekend.

OFF WHITE STRAW HAT WITH WHITE FEATHER PLUMAGE

This pretty hat has a very nice shape and size to it.  Its brim is undulating and the straw is strong and clean, very tight weave.  The feathers are attached all around, and perhaps you could add a group of flowers or a pretty hat ornament at the front to match your vintage outfit!  I believe this hat to be actually made in the 1960's, but it has the style and look of the Edwardian era.  The feathers may or may not be original, this is exactly how I bought it.  Sorry about the 'bald' mannequin head, I have to get her a wig!!!  But you can get an idea of how this hat flatters one's head, and it will fit an average size woman's head -- it fits mine just fine.

FRENCH WHITE PEARL DECO BEADED PURSE

All in white and ready for your wedding! This lovely and rare bag is not only a pretty oval shape but is all in white pearl beads. The arch shape frame has a delicate design and appears to be sterling silver, but I cannot verify. If you look closely, you’ll see the beadwork was done in a pie shape design enamating from the center, not in horizontal rows. The inside lining is in great shape, where we find a label reading, “Made in France.” Size: 4 1/2 by 6 1/2 inches. No flaws of any kind, no missing beads. A Sweet Purse! Goes with any party dress, garden dress or vintage gown.
